Some important changes to your Cardnet Operating Manual with the introduction of V PAY, a new European product from Visa.  

 

I am pleased to let you know that as from 26 January 2012 the majority of Cardnet retailers will be able to accept V PAY - a new type of European card that could bring benefits to your business especially with the number of European visitors anticipated to attend the 2012 Olympic Games. 

 

V PAY is a chip and PIN only card, however, it can also be accepted for E-Commerce transactions as long as your business is registered for Verified by Visa.  Please note V PAYcannotbe accepted for Mail Order/Telephone Order, Recurring or Manual Paper transactions.

 

Have you received your new Point of Sale material and Cardnet Operating Manual CD Rom?

 

Just to let you know we have mailed all of our customers with new Point of Sale material incorporating the V PAY logo.  If you accept face to face transactions you can display these stickers to show visiting customers that you accept V PAY and you welcome their business.

 

We have also mailed an updated Cardnet Operating Manual on a CD Rom highlighting the new V PAY product, (see pages 9 and 10). Your new Operating Manual will take effect from 26 February 2012. Please remember that it forms part of your agreement with us, so please read it carefully and keep it in a safe place.
